I accidentally left on the valet alert for the car through Nissan connect and notice this alert fires off just when the car is running and hasn't been driven.

For example I remote started the car before leaving this morning and within a couple minutes the alert got sent to my phone. This is even before I had left my place to get in the car to drive away. It was just sitting in the driveway.

 

I have never used the valet setting, so know nothing about this. But since you left the valet system on, and the car was now more than two-tenths of a mile from where the car was when you turned the valet setting on, the alert is automatically transmitted again. Just guessing on something I know nothing about.
