I filled out and submitted the linked form. Also told them I had used side window deflectors (also called 'rain guards') on every generation Maxima for over thirty years, but can't find any for the 2016 Maxima. And I mentioned that Nissan has changed the 'new generation' schedule for the Maxima, and the 8th gen, beginning with the 2016 model year, will be with us for either seven or eight years, so whoever comes out with these deflectors for the 2016 will have a long selling window.

I submitted the form a couple months ago twice using different emails. Not sure how long it'll take them to make a set for our Maximas. Hope others on the forum can also put in a request.

At least they responded with an email confirming they received my email, and thanking me for my interest. I appreciate that.

Some good news. Although its not Weathertech, Lund International makers of the Auto Ventshade side window deflectors will have a product available on 2/29 for the '16 Maxima. It is a dark tint/ in channel style.
Part number: 194825
It does not show on their website yet, but was told it would be normally available thru their online or retail store ordering process.

Thanks for the info! I would have preferred the Weathertech, but have used Lund shades successfully in the past when Weathertech was not available on a timely basis. I need these on before the summer heat takes over, else I toast everything in my car every time I park in a public parking lot, which is fairly often.

Thanks for the detective work! I know as soon as I get these, Weathertech will release their vents. The Lund's seem to stick out a bit more. More function but much less appeal for me. Still up in the air. Unlike the previous, I mainly use them in the winter for dealing with the rain of the NW.
