Another defective moonroof...

Was driving to work a few minutes ago and decided to close the shades for the sunroofs since the sun was shining in. About 15 seconds after I hear a loud pop Now the rear sunroof shade has the cloth sagging/crumpled up and it won't open. Looks like this continues to be an issue with new maximas. Can't believe they haven't fixed this yet.

So that's what 3 sunroofs not working? Sorry for your issue but this is hardly an epidemic problem for this car.

Okay granted it's not an epidemic. That said I'm at least person number 8 on the forums that has had this issue since the other thread alone had 7 people report. Not sure where the 3 sunroof figure came from.

Could be. I'm just frustrated mainly because my dealership nearby had crappy rentals. Hoping it's fixed soon though!

No problems with mine either. Nor did I have problems with the double-paneled sunroof during the seven years I had my 7th gen Premium. But these double-paneled sunroofs have not been around for more than a decade or so, and they are more complex and sensitive to body torsion than most parts of the car, so a little trouble does not surprise me.
