Exclamation LED Fog Light

So a lot of people seem to be having the same issue when it comes to the fog lights which is the moisture issue. I was wondering if anyone swapped to LEDs and did not have moisture issues. If so what LED did you use?

From what I have read in other threads. It really seems like it is a housing issues. I live in AZ so it doesn't rain often. I have not changed mine out yet. I think I will leave them in to see how it does when it rains and test it out.

I replaced mine last September right after I got the car. I haven't had any moisture issues. I think the problem people are having is with the fog light housing. I think people are just noticing it sometimes after they replace the bulbs because they are "aware" of the area after they have worked on it. The housings probably already had an issue, but it had just not been noticed or hadn't rained enough to be evident beforehand. There have been plenty of instances on this forum of people having moisture in their fog lights that HAVE NOT replaced their fog light bulbs.

I used the same bulbs that most have used:

I know most of the people on Amazon have different cars so they only need two, but with the Maxima needing two per side is it an overkill at all?

I don't think so, personally, but everyone is different. They are bright, for certain, but I don't think they are obnoxious or blinding to other drivers.

Awesome I will definitely have to pick up a couple pairs of them for sure. Doesn't look so bad to install.

I noticed my moisture issue after a self service car wash. I will be looking to see if I can identify how the water got in if at all possible. I want these bulbs to work, I really like the color and the price was nice.

I agree. I used these same lights from Amazon too and have not had any moisture issues.

What the heck?! That is the ugliest thing I've seen as far as a "bulb" goes.

Go with Diode Dynamics XML2's they are pricey but cheaper than the ones above. $120/pair. Diode is a great company and high quality products. I just got mine in the mail and will be installing this weekend. All my other bulbs that are now LED are from Diode as well.

You guys need to stop buying crappy drop in bulbs and buy these actual LED housings. No plug and play bulb compares in brightness and width.

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...pe-nissan.html

I can get them a good bit cheaper so PM me if interested.

EDIT: Thought this was the 7th gen section. Whoops! Still wouldn't waste money on drop in LED bulbs.

That won't fit a 2016, will it?
