New member with some questions.

Hi all.
just picked up SL pearl white.
I would like to install HID's and wanted to know if there is any video/post with pic / post with instructions anywhere. It would help me alot.

what kind of bulbs this maxima has in brake light and turn signals.? I would like to change them to V3 triton led's. ( 7440 ) ????

I find the SL ride stiff. Are all the trim levels ride same? or only SL is rides like brick?

Thanks.

Here is something from a previous post. I don't believe anyone has really made alot of great videos but you have two options. Go through each from wheel well take off the tires and take out the lining. Or you can drop the bumper and go that route.

Low beam headlight bulb (halogen) H11
High beam headlight bulb H9
Fog light bulb H16
Front turn signal bulb 7443
Front sidemarker bulb 194
Front parking light bulb 7443

Interior door light bulb 194
Stepwell light bulb 194
Glove box light bulb 74

Trunk light bulb 194
Rear turn signal bulb 7440
Brake light bulb 7440
Back up light bulb 921
License plate bulb 194

You don't need to take off the wheel. Turn the wheel in the opposite direction that you're replacing the headlight, remove 2 clips, and then pull the liner down. You'll have access to the headlights.

Also, research into requiring getting a resistor when replacing turn signals. The flasher will make the turn signals blink fast like you have a bulb out.

For HIDs you'll want to take the wheels off if you go through the wheel wells so you can have maximum access when locating the Ballasts.
