Cosmetic Issue

Hey guys,

I'm a new user and new Maxima owner (purchased on 4/10/16).

I just came back from a trip this evening and noticed that the black hard plastic that runs along the back of the new Maxima's somehow became detached on mine. It's on the passenger side only. Anyone else have this issue before? I attached two photos to show what I'm talking about.

Does it appear to be broken or just released from some kind of clip?

Yep, exact same thing happened to mine. Passenger side as well, clip actually broke.

Had it replaced under warranty.

It doesn't appear to be broken. I'll take it back to the dealer on Tuesday to have them fix it.

If it's not broken you should just be able to snap it back in. They are just snap in clips.

If you can't snap it back in, the clip is likely broken like mine was.
