Anyone else having a problem with AC?
My air conditioning is temporarily turning off upon braking for some reason. The fan stays running but the air blowing out is noticeably hotter for a few seconds when I press the brakes. As soon as I'm at a complete stop or accelerating again, air gets cold again immediately.
This seems like the oddest correlation, what would brakes possibly have to do with the AC compressor being on? So confused but thought I would post here since I can't find any other threads about it.

Very strange indeed. So far my ac is blowing super cold during this Texas heat. Hopefully it continues to do so for many years. Best thing to do is take it to the dealer and see if they can find something wrong with it. Try to replicate the problem on a test drive with them. Good Luck.

A muggy 107 degrees at our home in middle Georgia Friday. We can't stay outside for long periods, but, as long as we are in our Maxima, we stay very comfortable. We have made several long trips in hot weather in this 2016 Platinum with no problems. I will pay attention later today (Saturday) and notice whether my AC cycles off during braking.
I can remember the old days, when all auto AC units briefly cycled off occasionally in order to prevent the unit from 'freezing up.' I also remember way back in the early 1950s, when I used a round coil sitting in a tank of water suspended outside from the driver's partially open window and pulled a cord to roll the coil through the water occasionally so it would stay wet and cool the air coming through it and into the car. This worked well in western Texas, Arizona, etc, but not so well in humid climates. AC systems have come a long way since then.
