Coilovers

Im interested in switching to coilovers from lowering springs...

So for those that have them how are you liking them?

Are they direct fit from 7th Gen?

What brand are you running?

Most 7th gen guys run the BC Racing coilovers. They are a direct fit for the 7th gen maxima

I'm sorry. I read your post wrong. I thought you were asking for the 7th gen.

I've heard of some people using Tein coilovers, but they requires spacers. Some with the BC coilovers are having noise over bumps. Seems like it does fit but with minor adjustments as well as minor issues. I am personally waiting for a direct replacement to change my springs to coil overs. I wouldn't mind the springs if the rears were a little bit lower.

Thanks for your feedback! I would love to go with the tucked look while having no gap all around. And a slight camber to give it a mean stance. Now that it isn't a daily driver... I'm more interested in tossing the springs and doing other mods.

Tein Coilovers fit with 1/2 inch washers under the piston nut on the front . Other than that its a direct fit with no noises or anything and ride comfort is incredible compare to bc or d2's. I'm actually selling mine in the classified sections which I include the washers. hit me up in ur interested!

I'm running bc coilovers and I can confirm it is a direct replacement straight bolt on no need for any modifications.

Definitely! I appreciate the response. What's the reason your leaving the coilovers?

If it's nothing too personal, may I ask why you are getting rid of it? You've put in quite a bit of work, so I'm a little surprised you you're moving on.
