Rolling windows up and down using the key fob

I am new to Nissan as 2016 Maxima would be my first ever. I was googling last night and found out that you can roll windows down using key fob. I tried it this morning and it works!!!!! Little things like this makes me love my maxima even more as you don't find this feature in other cars.

My question is does this feature only work for rolling down the windows? Will I be able to roll up windows as well using my key fob. I tried and was not able to roll up my windows.

This is hilarious -- I just found this out this morning by accident, as I remote started my Maxima, went outside, and found my windows rolled down.

You cannot use the intelligent key to raise the windows.

Oh well!! At least I can roll my windows down using the intelligent key. Wish Nissan had the feature so that we can roll up the windows as well.

If you could roll up the windows with the remote you would not be able to see if the windows were all clear of things that could get caught in the window. It's a designed in safety feature by leaving it out.

Or a shortcut to not worry about object detection. VW/Audi have had roll-up for years now, and just reverse back if they detect something. Of course, as they age, sometimes the windows just roll back anyway, thinking they hit something.

Nissan answered this suggestion around ten years ago, and said that, yes, if the window closed onto the neck of a young child looking out the window, the window could be made to immediately reopen. But there could already have been serious injury to the tender neck of a young child.

No way to roll the windows up. I hoped that Nissan put the feature of rolling up all windows once I lock the doors from the fob key. It would be great as sometimes the driver or the passengers forget to roll the windows back before getting out of the car.

Just don't long press the unlock button on the remote then the feature will not display itself. Otherwise I do not know of any setting that turns off the feature.

To note, 2013 Ford Fusion has the ability to roll down all windows, even open the sunroof with fob. Best part, you can close all of them with the fob too. Nissan needs to catch up.

if any windows are down, you can express all of them up, using the actual key in the fob.
use it on the drivers side door, twist it towards the engine compartment. This will roll up any and all opened windows, without having to restart the car.

This is a very old technology feature in hundreds of different cars from a little over a decade ago lol. Most allow windows up/down + Sun/moonroof.

My friends 2005 Honda accord opens them with the remote and closes them with the key fob
