I enjoy listening to my iPod through the USB port because the iPod menu shows up on the screen. However, every now and then the iPod just stops. When I look at the iPod the screen with the large check is there with the notice that it is now safe to disconnect the iPod. So I unplug the iPod and plug it back in but it goes right to that screen. It happened today and I just can't seem to use the iPod in the car any more. Does anyone know what I'm referring to? Any help? Thanks, Dave

 

I have had a similar problem with my ipod where it just locks up. I end up having to do a reboot of the ipod which clears it.

 

Same problem.....I realize that is a cable/connector issue. I purchase a new cable USB/connector......Apple original in Best Buy...problem solved....
