More minor changes. Colors and passenger side seat can be raised up/down. Nissan also blacked out some of the emblems on the Midnight Edition as well. Looks better.

Added new red color, 2 extra usb ports in the rear seats, front v motion blacked out, android auto, and i know the sr midnight has all around view camera like the platinum.
Sr midnight also has midnight emblem in the rear next the SR letters. Blacked out rear chrome. And SR Midnight has low beam LED lights like the platinum.

Tanks for that list, Jlkoh. Those changes, in addition to the raiseable passenger seat, make the 2018 a very nice vehicle.

Nissan's latest on line brochure still refers to a 4 way Pax seat for the Platinum. Must be a typo as the pax seat is said to move up and down as well as front back and recline all via power. That would make it a 6 way pax set then? Anyone know for sure about this and what models the pax seat adjustment up and down is standard on?

Nissan website listed it separately as front passenger's seat power lifter and it is only standard on Platinum.

A slight change to the front, the matte silver colored trim piece on the inside of the chrome V on the grille is now a gloss black.

Thanks for looking into this. It should be standard across the board.

BlueSR, the '18 Platinum passenger seat is 6-way power. All '18s have 8-way power driver seat, and all '18 non-Platinums have 4-way power passenger.

I wonder if that's just the midnight edition, seems even more black than normal. I noticed even the wheels are black.

I think on the regular car, it's just got black on the top edge of th vmotion grill. I'm not sure why everyone is so enamoured with black on everything, I'm quite fond of the chrome-y goodness of the 2017 and earlier. I got the chrome rocker panels and on the back (diffuser?)

Maxima featured in Game Night movie

Just saw the new Jason Bateman movie, Game Night. The featured car is the Platinum. Sad that it couldn't outrun a rusty old van.

yeah maybe that is the new midnight edition. Entire chrome is gone. Logo is an eyesore when it’s like that though

Agreed! The all black makes some great design details fade to an obscure view. Especially the wheels. Only exception I can see is the white color with black trim. Otherwise its chrome for me.
