'17 Base S, due to seat, ok?

Buying used and it looks like I will need a base S model '17. The thigh extender hits me behind my knee and is really annoying.

Anyone with a base S model? Anything missing you really wish it had? I don't think I will miss the leather. My first Maxima was a 2000 SE with cloth seats and I loved that car.

I have 2016 BB base S. I haven't had leather in a Nissan so i don't really miss it. I had a sunroof in my 2013 Altima 3.5 SV and I missed it for a couple weeks but don't think about it anymore. I believe the 2017 came standard with blind spot detection but mine doesn't--you can't miss what you never had. I wish it had LED headlamps vice the yellow halogens--otherwise I love the car

I bought a base S and I love it... The only thing I wish it had came with is LED Headlamps as Todd mentioned.. car drives great and looks better IMO, they way I look at is there's less things to go wrong with it in the long run (ie: electronics, sensors seals, squeaky motors) as I like to keep my cars for several years I feel I made a good choice with the black bas S model. I will however be adding the premium spoiler and possibly wheels in he future. My only mod so far has been to add 20% tint to the back windows and 35% on the front and passenger windows, car looks great and turns a lot of heads as there isn't many in my area. Good luck and im sure your wont be disappointed!

I don't think the blind spot detection is standard. Pretty sure it's only on the SR, SL, and Platinum models.

Well the S model is missing a lot of goodies, but it's still got it where it counts... including 300 horsepower, navigation, and automatic braking. On the bright side, you'll have a lot less stuff to break with the base model!

As a bonus, the S doesn't have a trim badge so everyone will think you already removed it (if your into that). Not to mention the S is over 100lbs lighter then the platinum, so if a platinum driver challenges you to a race you can show him who's boss!

I have a '17 S. Wish it had come with adjustable lumbar support. I ended up getting aftermarket power lumbar adjustment and it definitely made the seat better. If you are in a colder climate, you may miss heated seats and mirrors. The halogen low beams are pathetic, but you'd have to jump to Platinum to get LEDs stock. Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy the car and plan to keep it for many years.

Well if you buy a 2017.5 model or newer. They made it standard in a mid year refresh

If you had it you'd be getting the warning beeps from time to time. So the answer is almost certainly no.
