Has anyone had issues with the auto-breaking on the 2016 Maxima??

Has anyone had issues with the auto-breaking on the 2016 Maxima??
I was driving through a very busy intersection today and the car e-braked me with absolutely nothing in front of me. It almost caused a huge accident!! Has there been any recalls that I’m not aware of or has anyone else had any issues??

On my 2016 Platinum, every now and then mine will start to auto brake for a second or two when I am approaching a railway underpass and the road ahead is at a higher level after a dip in the road under the tracks . Doesn't happen all the time but I am always on the ready for that.

This is interesting, I think the same thing happened to me a month or so back near a raised train track as well. I was a bit concerned at the time but it hasn't happened since. Guess I'll have to be careful and make sure I'm traveling slowly when I see those coming up.
I'm not certain how the braking works, but I think it does some kind of "ground radar" thing that can supposedly see 2 cars ahead. I can see how some metal tracks raised from the ground could cause the system some confusion.

Mine does that as well at the tracks, but I’m always expecting it. This time there was absolutely nothing in front of me. No car, no tracks, no signs, straight road....nothing. And it completely e-brakes me. Car came to a total stop in the middle of the intersection.
