Will a full size factory wheel fit in the trunk

I usually purchase a factory size wheel because I hate the "Donut" spare. I had a 2010 and my full size rim did not sit flush in my trunk. My trunk cover was uneven after placing it in the trunk. Can some one show me or tell me the tire sits flush in the tire well in the trunk. Thanks!

It does not, sorry to say. On the plus side, Nissan should be commended for having a spare at all. At Acura, you have to drop 500 bucks for one!

That has been a pet peeve of mine also. I had a full size OEM spare on an extra OEM wheel in my '04 Maxima SL, and it fit the trunk depression perfectly. I could not do that with my 2009 Maxima Premium. With my 2016 Platinum, I measured carefully and decided that an OEM size spare tire on an OEM wheel would leave the part of the trunk floor above the spare tire bulging an inch or two above the rest of the trunk floor. Not good. If I'm rolling along at 80 MPH on back roads somewhere out west, I am not going to count on one of those 50 MPH limit donut tires to get me through the rest of my trip, or even to a town large enough to have an open Nissan dealer with a matching OEM tire and wheel in stock. Oh, well. life is sometimes challenging.
