Issues with the Adaptive Cruise Control

I have a 2017 Maxima Platinum. I am constantly having issues with the adaptive cruise control light coming on and turning off the cruise. I travel all the time but this has gotten me so aggravated that I'm about ready to get rid of it. When it's sunny, cloudy or raining the light comes on. My question is, has anyone else had issues with this?! It's so dang frustrating!!

YES indeed! My front radar is being replaced. Problem is though the part is on national back order atm. Dealer parts department told me Nissan will release them on the 19th of this month. I have been waiting two weeks so far.

I've had a phantom emergency brake false alarm a couple of times, where it beeped at me when nothing was there. One time I suspect it was due to some elevated railroad tracks, the other is a mystery but perhaps there could have been something sticking out on the side of the road that didn't catch my eye. Thankfully neither incident caused my car to actually hit the brakes but I'm still a bit suspicious about it.

Overall, I've been extremely impressed with how the intelligent cruise control works. It's saved my butt a few times driving through Orlando and the traffic unexpectedly slows down. It seems to be smart enough to not brake suddenly if someone cuts in front of me but is still moving forward. I didn't think it would do so well in traffic , but it does better than I expected. Of course, I keep my foot right over the peddles just in case

hopefully they will get this resolved for you, it really is a great feature when it works properly
