Hello everyone!
New to the forum and from the Pittsburgh, Pa area.. Went from a 17 Altima to a 19 Maxima Platinum..... WoW!

this car is a hot rod... I love it. compared to the Altima it is way above anything I’ve owned. Nice growl when it’s started.
Is anyone tuning these yet? I would imagine a good tuner could unlock a few more hp an especially torque!

There are threads on this already. Right now the only things you can really do is a catback exhaust and intake. I recommend keeping the factory resonator because of the highway drone and possible torque lost (or buy a really good one with close or same to the factory resonator specs) and doing a high quality Y pipe with axle back mufflers. The Y pipe will give you a slight gain. You can possibly do a lightweight crank pulley but I’m still doing research on that. Also maybe upgraded ignition coils from Audi but that’s just speculation. As far as a tune goes, we are all hoping for something but it’s not looking promising because of the limitations of the CVT.

These are some mods for other gen VQ35DE
