Brake light water issue

19 maxima sv...took back to dealer, replaced driver side rear light assembly. Washed car and new light had more water inside than original!!!! Any suggestions??

I am tomorrow...have appointment! Wondering if the dealer didn’t even replace light assembly or if their is a drainage issue on that side? Marked the light assembly this time to assure replacement
