2016 platinum driver seat issue

Today I went to vacuum my car and the drivers side seat will not move forward or back. I can move the seat in every other direction except that. I have a 2016 platinum. Any suggestion or advice?

Wonder if there is a pen stuck in one of the tracks?

I will try looking tomorrow. When I press the button I hear the click that you hear when you press the buttons but the chair won’t move. It does actually feel like it’s stuck.

Seat fixed thank you Nissan Corp.

So shortly after my initial post I took my car to my dealer. They confirmned that there was a electrical motor failure and that they would have to order me a new driver seat that was not covered by my warranty. The cost was almost $4,000. I contacted Nissan Corp and they agreed that the dealer misdiagnosed the issue and told me to return to the dealer so they could try and fix the seat.(The extended warranty I picked up when I bought the car covers electrical issues up to 100,000 miles.) A few weeks later my seat just started working. So when I called the dealer back they said that since the seat was now working there was no need for me to bring the car in. Nissan Corp even refunded my diagnostic fee of close to $250.00. Thank you Nissan.

Great ending to your story though I wonder if there is an intermittent electrical issue. At least you have the warranty sorted and it is great to hear Nissan stood up for the cost. Best of luck.
