Teddy Nissan dealership issues

So I hate to do this but just wanted you guys to know that The folks at teddy Nissan in the bx. are taking advantage of customers. Firstly let me say I am not talking about the service Dept and mechanics. I know that everyone is hurting due to this pandemic but the last time I took my car in they diagnosed my car as one thing and then they tried to run up the price to not only order unnecessary parts but it made the issue I went in there for to be not covered by warranty. This meant that a simple estimate ended up costing me over $240.00. Thank you to Nissan Corp for stepping in and helping me resolve my issue.

I'm confused about the warranty part cause doesn't the dealership still get paid for warranty work? Like it wouldn't benefit them to pass on warranty work right? What was the issue you brought your car in for?

Either way, glad you got it resolved! Thanks for the heads up

I am disgusted that a car Dealer using my and my son's name "Teddy", would rip off customers.

Signed, Teddy (no connection) :-)

I think they have an agreement with Nissan to accept a lower hourly rate. They usually make money on parts too which I’m guessing they can’t do with Nissan either and their is probably some agreement about a lower rate

I have to give a shout-out to Teddy Nissan in the bx. My car broke down on 9-13 with a faulty alternator. On 9-16 I had an appointment @ 10 to have my car looked at. When I purchased the car from them in 2019 I also bought the extended warranty. They have been very accommodating and professional. Thank you so much to everyone at Teddy Nissan. You all Rock !
