Cold Air Intake, Worth It?

I recently purchased a 2020 Maxima and I am thinking about installing a cold air intake. I have heard a few things about them not being worth the money and also voiding the warranty. Anyone installed a cold intake on 8th Gen models and your thoughts?

Nope, unless you are ok with just getting more noise out, more dirt and in most cases, more heat into your engine

I recently purchased a 17 sr with 9K miles and I installed a k&n cold air intake they also guarantee it doesn’t void your warranty. K&n will contact the dealership if there are any issuers making sure it’s good. You have to get it. The car is so much more responsive and peppy. It’s Amazing you won’t regret it. Doesn’t nothing to the engine. Just take care of your car regularly

That "peppy response", which may be a technical term I am not familiar with, is due to the lightening of your wallet..."cold air" intake with the hardware located under the hood is an oxymoron...
