A/C or blower broken?

I noticed a funny noise from under the hood the other day. Then, the following day I had the A/C set at a low temperature due to the heat. When I switched the car on, the air vents blasted out hot air for quite some time. After a while (at least 1 minute?), the air wasn't that cold and it was blowing as strongly as it should at the highest settings. I'm just wondering if this might be an expensive fix? Its a 2017 Maxima SL. Thanks

Yes, it might be an expensive fix, or it might be an inexpensive fix.

Take you car to a repair shop you trust for diagnosis and repair.

Sounds like you are low on freon. Best to find the source of the leak which can be a noticeable cost. Let us know. How many miles on the car?
