Anyone have issues with the sonar not beeping? I get the display alerts (green, yellow, red) when my bumper is close to something but no alert sounds. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a 2017 Maxima Platinum.

 

since no else has answered…I fairly certain there is a setting for that. Check in the settings menu from your steering wheel.

 

Thanks, yeah, I checked the settings. I tried to set the volume from low to medium for the parking aids but nothing is working at the moment. I did update my navigation recently and not sure if that messed it up.

 

I suspect the update may have had something to do with it. If a dealer was involved with the update I’d take it back to them. Good luck.

 

I updated it myself recently (e.g., ordered the SD card, went through the whole process, entered the code, etc.). Was hoping to avoid the dealership. Ah well, I guess I can live without the sound since the sensor and visual alerts still work. Thanks!
