I’m aware that my maxima has only the adaptive cruise control, when i press the cruise button the icon shows up in an orange icon. I bought a used maxima and it didnt have the front sensors but it does have the rear sensors. The car always gave me a message ‘parking sensors error’. can anyone please tell me if i add regular front parking sensors from an accessory shop, will the cruise control work again? I mean does the adaptive cruise control have any connection to the front parking sensors other than the ICC unit it uses
