Alternator works intermittently

A couple of days ago I bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima from a local dealer.

Day 1 after driving about 26 miles the car would only accelerate at 1 mph
Day 2 dealer put a new battery and said I was good to go

Later that night the car would only accelerate 1 mph
Brake pads started to make noise
I limped the car very slowly and carefully making sure I didn't damage the brake rotors.

I told him it needed brake pads and needed the charging system checked out
He put brake pads on it and I think he thought that there was nothing wrong with the charging system because it does work sometimes.

So I take the car and the charging system failed again leaving me stranded , I'm stressed because I can't have this car leaving me stranded with super cold winter coming .

Should I just pay to have the entire charging system replaced with OEM parts.
I'm thinking replace the alternator , regulator , all electrical connectors and anything else charging related.
Battery is already new..
I need it reliable.

Take it back to the dealer. They sold you a defective car. Have them do a load test on the alternator if you think it's failing. Are the battery and brake lights on, or flicker on?
