Its Alive!!!!

Well just went for a spin with the new motor (full VQ35DE in a 97 with 95 ecu) I just have to say it pulls like a ****. Second is useless now all the way too redline without a hint of traction. Dyno will be sometime next week.

BTW it now has a 2k1 AE LSD trans too.

I cant wait for a dyno and some details on how you got the 95 ECU to work! if there is not a check engine light.

LOL shes out of state till tuesday so she cant even drive it.

Dyno should be sometime early next week. Its running like a champ and pulls hard all the way to 135mph

. I took a few buddies for a ride and they definitly noticed a difference.

yup stock ECU. i need a 00-01 fuel rail and inj yet to make things better.

Yes i will be, eventually.

EGR isnt hooked up yet so there is a CEL.

is this something u think can become a common mod like swaping out a 5th gen tranny or something, or is this just a shop only type of mod. n are u going to post up a write up?

Rob,

That thing looks sweet. I can only imagine how much quicker that car is...what is needed to physically get the motor in the bay? Any custom fabbing? Also I'm sure you ended up splicing into the engine harness to get it to all work together....
