hey, i have a 94 GXE and im almost done with simple bolt ons and now i want to know what else can i do. im new to the whole building your engine internally thing. so can you guys give me some ideas....?

 

i dont know alot about 3rd gens, but i bet you could get a bit more power by tuning. After that higher compression pistons, longer duration/lift cams, lightened crank, etc..

 

5spd will be the best bolt on you could do

 

Im not a big tuner but one thing you can do if you have a laptop (or get one) is get a stand alone computer setup so you can tune your engin map. My friend has one on all his RX7's and it really helps performance.

lol why not motor swap? Hasnt someone put a vq in there 3rd gen?

 

Is the GXE a VG? Boost or Nitrious would be your best bet with the strong iron block.

 

yea its a vg...i was thinking about nitrous but i want to do some other stuff before i start to spray

 

headers, intake, and some weight reduction should be good. Then get soem slicks and the nitrious, and youll be good to go.
