i currently have a 98 se 5spd w/150xxx it runs good but its on its way out and i can get a 2000 maxima motor w/27xxx for dirt cheap I would like to know if i should swap the entire motor or just the 00VI into my old motor. will i have any problems running the 00 motor on my 98 ecu or even a jwt 96 ecu the motor is of a 2000 max 5 spd im new to all motor forum but any info would be good thanx guys

 

I would swap motor and use a 96 JWT ECU.

I was planning on doing this, except put the 35 bottom on it. Only problem is ecu... Dont know what im gonna do about that.
