need help on some diagnosis

ok guys..
heres the story
my engine been acting really slow lately.. the damn thing doesnt go.
i hear some chain sounds from the right side and i think its the timing chain

but its like.. it doesnt pick up anymore..i know its not tranny cause i just changed it 8k miles ago.

whats causing my engine to be like a turtle?

is it time for rebuild?
i only got 54k on it

Check your codes (specially knock sensor). Wrong forum, though.
