2003 vs 92 se engine

3.5 vs 3.0
My mechanic who owns a supra speedshop in brooklyn, has my 4th gen and was going to build the engine ( wysco pistons, bigger bore or just slap em in , etc etc etc ) and turbo my car.
we were looking at 400-600 hp.
Now I see all this 3.5 liter swap info and proof and I actually told him to hold off untill I get more info on this.
Now he tells me that the 2k2/2k3 engine is soften than the 3.0 is this true?
He doesnt know too much about maximas other than 3rd gens..he's a supra and talon Guy

Now the 3.5 vs the 3.0 for going boosted, is the swap really worth it?
pros and cons plz

A built, turbo'ed VQ35 will put down absolutely ridiculous power levels. Mardi is looking for 10's this year.

well he does know his stuff, just never took on a maxima project.
They are very good with turbos that I know.
No turbo they built ever came back to the shop..they do take some time thou, but that is because the father believes that quality work should be done.

I will keep the org posted, and yes..I'm aiming for a 10 - 11 second 4th gen.
