Hi guys,

With great help from Tilley, Me and my mechanic finally finished the 3.5 swap and got the engine running. Already blew my tranny and got a used 4th gen in. The car is pulling like crazy !! I still have a few things to work out but the big part is done. So now in Quebec we have 2 4.5 gen . I've already spoken to JCLAW and hopefully his traction bars will be ready shortly.

Be sure and post dynos and track times whenever possible. Congrats.

What are all the mods...are they the same as listed in your sig? What are your future mod plans for it?

You blew the tranny already? Good sign or bad sign? lol

Hopefully we'll meet at the track a few times this year (whether Sanair or Napierville).

not sure how i blew the tranny... i was in 5th and all i heard was a loud bang and felt as though the tranny fell to the floor. All i can say it's it is the worst feeling ever and i'm kinda scared for it to happen again. I now shift like a granny lol.

Jclaw, I've never went to the track in Montreal before but i'm def. gonna go this summer. Some of my friends already saying to go Napier in april. If u want PM me ur number and we'll try and hook up a mini meet. The guys on npclub are already talking about a meet in june.

For June I'll be fine but I'm planning on hitting the tracks only after May 1st.

A little advice; Don't go to the track on Weekdays, and don't go to the track in April. Track prep swallows whole. Go to the track on Saturdays and Sundays when there are 8-second dragsters laying down the rubber. Trust me you will feel it even on street tires.

Hi hightuner, yes indeed i kept the 3.0 ecu. the swap was confusing enough lol i can't imagine the swap with the 3.5 ecu on top of that. I'm glad i had much help from Tilley and my mechanic.
