You can reuse the 2k2 VC if you shave a part of the middle plenum and part of the oil cap. You will know what to shave off once everything is together. Also you have to get rid of the breather pipe that connects to the rear VC. Like Vsa mentioned, if you can get a Z VC for $30 then go for it

I don't think I will be able to add a spacer. There is probably only 3/8 of an inch between the hood and the highest point on the front of the plenum.

wat you had to get rid of the pipe that goes from the rear valve cover to the front valve cover? why?

The engine harness needs to sit right in front of the hole in order for the plenums to sit flush.

excellent job thats exactly what i was planning on doing myself.Only different thing I was gonna do was make and air box for the filter and use an manifold spacer.other than that very good job you genuis!!

for guys w/ the vq30, could the lower vq30 IM be portmatched to the upper 350 IM, or would the holes not line up right?

The holes wouldnt line up right at all, i tried in on my parts car with the 350z manifold i bought. No point in it, get a VQ35, they're cheap enough.

haha, easy to say, but there are other reasons other than cost holding me back from getting a vq35.

Congrats on the conversion, i have a question for u aside from the conversion project. Where did u get those headlamps with da bmw halo from?

looks good..a firne dof mines actually put our intake manifold on his z, reason he keep blowing up the 350z manifold due to nitrous.....hes on a 175 shot and the maxima manifold has yet 2 blow up and the car hes and dynos the same...he made a spacer for the maxima manifold...

will that TB bolt up to the altima/maxima/murano IM? if not, can I buy the TB you had on your other manifold?
