3.5 Downtime Question

I was thinking about driving down to Annville (to see the great TILLEY) and having a 3.5 dropped into my auto. How many of you guys have had Tilley drop a motor in and how long was the downtime? Also, I read in a thread a while back that is cost about 3000 dollars to have it done. Is that true because I doubt it comes with a tranny. Anybody?

If he has the entire engine assembled, and ready to drop in, and given that everything needed to do teh swap is readily avalible, the swap shouldn't take more than a day or two.

Last I remember a 3.5 prepped engine was $1800.

If your sticking with your auto you'll want to upgrade that tranny.

It could be done in a day or two, priovided everything is ready and done, so its just pull out the enigne, and put in the new + extras.

So it's 1800 installed?? I was going to have my tranny rebuilt with a high stalll torque converter and a 2.5 VB with cooler. That should be enough hopefully. I really know how much HP and TQ it gives off which is friggin great but has anybody had any emission problems?

I believe its just $1800 for the motor prepped to be dropped in your 4th gen. Labor would be a who different cost. Contact Tilley for more acurate specifics.
