Bored 5th gen TB

Can I bore out my TB using my drill press with a rotary file or sanding drum? I'm looking for a mini project for this weekend and figure this coudln't hurt any.

What will you do about the butterfly flap? It will suck in more air at idle.

well i was thinking of leaving stock dia in the center where the valve is and taper it out to induce a little venturi effect....

if i made the center larger could I find a larger valve at a junk yard?
