She is alive!! Pics and a Video (56k no,no)

Got her started 30minutes ago. Turns out she needed a good tap of the throttle. Still have to adjust the TPS otherwise, shes going smoothly.

Couple notes:

3.5 plug on the Crank POS wires DID match up by color. I tried every combination after being told it was not right and as it turns matching the colors was the only one that worked. (Maybe this should be noted in the sticky)????

Still trying to figure out why I'm getting an error for the IACV. I have it hooked up to a mounting plate and tubing is done. Any ideas?

Hope to have her on the road today! But its hot as a *****!

Goodbye to old friend, so long!

This poor guy was stray maybe 5 weeks old. He ended up in his yard after being lost. My friend adopted him. We now call him "Lugnut"

The video of it running:

I'm still using the resonator from the 3.0 intake, so I routed it to where it was before. The other tube is hooked up in a vacuum outlet.

3.5 swap is to nissan as GSR swap is to Honda. It's becoming that common.

MORE INFO MORE INFO . 3.5 ECU? What was the hardest part? Are you mechanically inclined (trying to see if I should attempt this myself)? Tell us about the timing case swap. Down Time? How much did it cost roughly in the end?

If you do all the work yourself, I'm fairly certain you could git 'er done for 2K or less. In my case, I decided to replace both driveaxles with Raxles, pick up a Spec Stage 2 Plus clutch, Fidanza flywheel, new starter, water pump, all new gaskets, belts, hoses, ball joints, ES motor mounts, stabilizer links, etc., so the job will cost somewhere around 4K.

No 3.5 ecu, that would be a major undertaking and probably not worth it. Hardest part had to be doing it by myself in the grass! Imagine trying to move a motor in grass. I'd like to think I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I've done 5 other swaps(5 SR's) Timing case is easy, just looks difficult. $1000-1100

Great job. And thanks for the info on the 3.5 CPS wiring. It will make it more straightforward when my turn comes around.
