timing chain replacement for the 3.5 swap

I was wondering... how many of you who did the 3.5 swap replaced the 3.0timing chain?
Would you all recommend it?? We are about to remove the timing case, so I havent seen if its stretched or not...

And for those of you who have done the swap and didnt replace the chain, how many miles did your original engine have??

you're not going to have to replace it unless you see cracking on the links...but most likely it's not required. I changed mine just for the heck of it because i was getting a new tensioner anyways. If you have the money too, then go ahead purchase some new chains and guides but it won't matter unless your chain is cracking. mine had about 150K btw.

inspect the links, more than likely they are in good shape.

120k+ on the chain(s) and was in good shape. re-used and no problems.

I reused my chains, tensioners and guides. All were in great shape with 131k miles on them. Mobil1 is the key baby

I am going to use de-k chains/tensioners/cases when I get my hands on a 3.5. They have around 50k on them.
