If I were you though, I'd just buy a 5.5 gen 6spd. It's too much work to get everything working right on a 4th gen, especially given the cost of 4th and 5.5 gens nowadays. Back in 2005 and 2006 when the 3.5 swaps were first happening, it was a different story.

well im a college student and while i can afford a swap by saving up money. i can't really afford to pull out of my current car....however i have been looking at some of the power people have gotten out of the vq30 N/a that i think i might be able to get the power i want out of that block.....so i gues i'll be starting with the y-pipe and cai. but in 2-3 months i'm going to need help with a mevi or cams...

Thank Tavarish for the great write up. I used it for my swap. Only thing that sucked for me is that the engine I got was bad and had almost no compression.
