techno squares ECU

heyy just wondering if anyone has this ecu upgrade installed with the MEVI?? all the talk is with the JWT and the MEVI being a great combination for all around power but with the techno squares ecu? much difference? or generally the same result between ECU's?

TS does not reprogram A32 ECU's any longer. But, in order to answer you question:

It would be an upgrade since they do advance timing, and you will gain the midrange that you lost. BUT, you will not have an extended rev limiter in order to take advantage of the MEVI 100%. IMO, this is a question better suited for the 4th gen area.

So what are you looking for, a dyno, timeslip? I cannot give you first hand experience, so I did have a JWT ECU

Welcome to 3 years ago (or more? ). If you do some searching around there are lots of old threads on both ECU's. But both those ECU's are "old-tech" now. In terms of performance with the MEVI, I'd give the edge to the JWT just for the rev limiter. Other than that they were pretty comparable.

If I were you I'd forget both and get an EU. You'll spend the same amount just about and get WAY more.
