IACV allows too much air to bypass! i'm stumped
How do us A/T transmission guys with A/T ECU's fix this problem?
Nah, I plugged up my Throttle body using KRRZ350's method (3" PVC expandable plug on the according piece) and blew air into the manifold via one of the vacuum lines, it held pressure and even blew it back out at me. I even sucked air out (yes sacrificing my lungs for this car
) and held the end of the hose with my thumb and it held vacuum. Keep in mind, the IACV required to be plugged too in order to hold vacuum.
Which leads me to believe the IACV is bad but measurements say otherwise. Resistance is in spec. 45ohms all around/12v from ECU. Tps is @ a perfect 545 ohms closed, 3500~ @ WOT, and measures linear all across.
