Vq30 heads on vq35 block

I have a 98 maxima, and I just messed up the connecting rod bearings. I heard a vq35 block is a direct bolt-on to the vq30 head. And it's better than doing the whole vq35 swap cuz that prevents me from having to swap wire harness. It's this true, and will my 5spd transmission also fit the vq35 block, and will I have to do any major modification?.
Thanks in advance for the help

dude you've bumped 3 thread...one from 2005...you obviously didn't research and do the leg work and we aren't going to do it for you....everything is here and available for you.

Honestly, if you don't even know if the VQ35 fits in your engine bay, then you honestly shouldn't be doing the VQ30 heads on the VQ35. Especially if you think putting the VQ30 heads on the 3.5 is how you use the existing 3.0 harnesses.

And how did you mess up your connecting rod bearings?

some of guys on here just cant wait to try and rip on a new member asking simple questions. if i knew i wouldnt ask, nismology, showed me links, and ive since done a lot of research on my own. despite what the "member since date" says, i'm new to the org, just recently been logging on, and dont really know how to navigate around it yet...so please calm down. FYI i messed up my bearings by running 140MPH for too long one night, plus i have almost 200K on the motor and just finished replacing water pump. This place is not very welcoming to newcomers it seems, why is it wrong to ask 3 different people the same question?. oh well its y'all rules ill just deal with it
