Slightly high Idle 00VI

I finished up my 00VI install tonight. 4th gen lower/00VI intake/4th Gen IACV/4th Gen Throttle Body/5th Gen Air box & Resonator w/ a fitting for IACV.

My idle is a little high 1200 park/850 in gear. Is some tweak of the idle normal? or do I have small vacuum leak somewhere. The car runs and drives fine other wise. (I just have to run a wire to engine compartment for the RPM switch)

Did you do a coolant bypass on the TB? I had a high idle when I did a coolant bypass on the TB when the temps dropped close to freezing.

I did do a coolant bypass (pretty much had to because the EGR is in the way of the 4th Gen TB coolant hoses). I am starting to think I might have a small vacuum leak. I will try spraying some carb cleaner around the intake, to see if I can locate it.

maybe you do, but I know that a coolant bypass can cause what you are describing on a vq30de (I have also bypassed the TB on my VE30 and the idle does not bump up when it is cold). Here is a link I could find that I posted in, other people have this problem too.

You are right it is the Fast Idle Cam raising my idle. I couldn't find any vacuum leaks. The actual adjustable arm was also bent. I disabled it (ie removed it) It seems like i just need to give my car a slight bit of gas when it is cold out, otherwise it seems to idle fine.

Does anyone know if the fast idle circuit affects fueling in anyway?
