K&N Apollo intake

http://www.knfilters.com/universal/apollo.htm

all you need are the intake piping and couplers that lead up to the filter, then shove the tube somewhere with fresh air.

closed filter setup so i figure better low end vs SRI, better resistance to heat and fresh cold air at higher speeds with much less risk of sucking up water vs CAI.

anyone have this or perhaps a similar DIY setup (not the one with home depot heat piping lol)?

I wonder how large the filter is inside? For the last 5 years or so I've been running a 5" K&N cone filter inside my OEM airbox (bolted to an aluminum MAF adaptor) and piping from the airbox into the fender.....works out great and no bog on hot/humid days...

Not sure why this is in here, most if not all of us are past 250bhp.

a 3.5” to 2.75” reducing coupler (silicone intakes has a product)

Various 3.5” joiners (I got mine at lowes, but silicone intakes has some, pricey though)

LRMAF ~100$

MAF scaling/tuning device (SAFCII, etc) 125$ minimally

WB $200+

WIN Priceless
