stereo problems
hey everyone...im new to the site but ive already done a search to try to find an answer to my problem but i couldnt find one, so here i go.
i just got a 1995 se with the standard bose system in it. now the speakers work great and sound comes out and all but the display will randomly go out and stay out for a while. what the hell is up with that?!?!? also the system says that there is a cd in the deck when there is not one in there...
any help would be awesome. like i said i already did a search but no one really had the same problem as me and i didnt find any soloution. PLEASE HELP!

Mine only messed up once, not wanting to play any CD's at all. Turns out that it had just downpoured prior, and humidity was very high in the car. Display was showing random things, too. After things dried up, no problems. Hasn't happened since, either.

so does anyone know what i should do to fix it??? or can i fix it at all? i mean i like the system but i dont really have the money to buy a new one. so there must be a way to fix this problem...anyone who knows or has any ideas PLEASE let me know.

Loose connectors, or a bad connection for some reason?
It's hard to diagnose problems like this from what I've seen. Typically the answer falls into a generic "The bose head unit is getting old" category. Unfortunately there's no cheap answer to that generic problem...
