Anyone heard the JL Audio 10W6 Stealthbox? Let me know what you think?

 

It has been around for a while...you can do a search for "stealthbox" But I can only say they are pricey for me, I could have bought one used for $250 last year but opted not to...otherwise you are looking at nearly $500 for it and you still need a good amp.

 

Actually they're around $400, not $500. If your not a basshead wanting to compete in soundoffs, and want a clean trunk, with all your space and still have great sounding bass, the Stealthbox is worth it, and then some. I've had mine for a year, and its been one of the best purchases I've made yet for my Max.

 

excellent, I have mine on order already. What type of Amp do you have? I ordered a JL 250-1 to power the box. I am not looking for crazy bass, just enough to fill out the bottom end of my system. I just hope it will keep up with my MB Quart Q's that will have 150W a piece.

 

Currently I have a Tube Driver TD750 running it, but I'll be going to the JL amp myself sooner or later. I've heard its by far the best match to the 10W6 inside the box....

 

You'll like the Stealthbox. I wish they made one for my 5th gen!!
