Audio (BOSE)

I know this was said somewhere before.. but i did try to search for it... i'm thinkin' about upgrading my system.. but keepin' everything bose or maybe add an amp to the bose... i don't like the bose that much.. it's loud and sounds good.. but outside.. can't hear a thing.. i wanna show off my system.. and especially my sweet ride.. so what can i do to add a lil thump without using a lot of space in the trunk.. and not a lot of wires in my car.. and all..

here's my choices..

Bose system with a 10" in a box... no amp.. or 2 10" in a box with an amp. i'm not sure.. cuz i don't wanna use too much space.. so would a 10" work added on to the bose with out an amp work.. or do i need an amp to go wit the 10... i'm lookin' for somehtin cheap.. and that can add a lil more base to the works.. wonder what i can do...

and help?

1st off, if you add a sub, you need an amp, point blank. Don't try adding just the sub. As for options with BOSE, look at the PD-2 and PD-4 here;

www.linkmeup.com

There are also others that are cheaper, the PD-4 and PD-2 are more top notch. Look for LOCs, or line output converters on the net. They do the same thing but are cheaper.

Also, given your concersn with adding a sub and keeping space, look at the JL audio Stealhbox. It's kinda pricey at around $400, but it is also oh so stealthy

If cost is dis-couraging, look at the infinity basslink.

The PD-4 makes an RCA line out so you can feed an external amp, since BOSE has no standard external connections.

Also, I forgot to mention, the basslink is an amp and sub all in one. So, no need to get an amp if you go that route.
