I never believe in counting something in or out simply based on money. But before you drop any money into anything, why don't you have a listen to them?

Just be careful, you can't always believe the manufactures ratings.

Go get a response curve for these speakers, have a listen to them, then decide.

The output of the speaker across the frequency range. A good one will look very much like a good torque curve, i.e. flat and wide. But then again, depending on whether it is a sub, a woofer, a mid bass, a tweeter, etc, you will want this curve to look differently.

Speakerhole = good deals, but crappy stuff for most. Any component that costs that little is gonna be no good. I have a friend that worked for harmon/kardon on the jbl line and the materials cost more than that for the pieces and jbl isn't the greatest. I would suggest testing out some reasonable components by Sony or Kenwood unless you want the all out flava of a Boston Acoustics, Focal, Diamond, etc. Just my .02, but in all my audio life I've never heard a good set that ran cheap.
