Good Pwr Inverter?
Good Pwr Inverter?
Im going to hook up my ps2 to my indash LCD screen. I looked on ebay for power inverters, but im not sure of the wattage or brand that would be best for my ps2. All I would use this for is hooking my ps2 under the passanger seat.
Pretty much any power inverter will work..... the PS2 does not require much power. I am guessing anything over 65 watts will work. As for the brand, your guess is as good as mine. Hope this helps!
Sam's club sells a 400W power inverter from Victor (made in China) for just under $30. It's green, has a reset button and has external fuses.
They have a pricier model which claims auto reset (when you switch it off and on again), soft-start and better noise supression. Sells for $45 (refurbed) on Victor's website and my local Meijer's sells a brand new one for $50. I bought it coz it was on sale for $40.
I tried it out and it's really nice (I did a direc tocnnection to the battery with the supplied cable). However, I'm planning on hooking it up in the trunk so I need to run some heavy duty power cables to the back of the car. I'll do it when I get my Optima (extra side posts)
