Premium sound + amps?

Hey guys, I've been working on my stereo the last week and came up with an interesting thought most of you have had. I'm thinking about keeping the receiver in the car and running a couple amps to the speakers, thus keeping it stealth but getting the good sound. I know there aren't any RCAs and the like, but I saw an amp adapter. Any luck with that? I'd be running 2 amps and I think that would be a problem.

I have the premium non-bose setup in case that helps

Yeah, you can definately do that, but you'll get a better sound with a new deck that has high voltage pre outs. If you have two amps then you would need to split the signal after the adapter box. If you want the best sound your best bet is to go with a new deck. You'll have better control over the sound of your system and your amps will get a cleaner signal.

Good call, I like an Alpine deck a lot, but it's silver and won't match the interior well at all. I agree about the outputs, some nice 4v outs would be much better, just wondering if anyone had done it and it turned out nicely.

I have an Alpine, 7894 model. It's MP3 and is black.
