Need amp help, dave or pearl!!

Well, i have 2 infinity perfect 12's, they're rated at 350rms, svc 4ohm. anyways, i called my local installer, and he recommended a 550d memphis amp, but i don't think that's enough, i was looking at an 1100d directed, guys..help me out, what do you think i should go for?

The 1100d should be perfect for those subs. I think it does about 800 or so at 2 ohms and I know that the Perfects can take more than what they're rated for. You should be happy with that amp.

you should go with at least 700 watts rms. 1100d directed amp would me my choice. A little extra power doesn't hurt.

that's what i thought, but the manager at the install shop said i should go with the memphis 550d. so my question is..how should i go about telling him that i want the 1100d and not the 550d?

oh yeah..my subs are 4ohm single voice coil..so are you guys absolutely sure that the directed 1100d can be wired to them without blowing everything? i know absolutely **** about wiring and ohms..so i was just curious if it would all hook up like the memphis 550d would

Thanks,
Wind
