New Installation

Hello fellow org members check out my site and tell me what you think bout the stereo install. I did it all myself in less then 8 hrs. custom box custom, amp rack, you name it i did it. very proud of my install. check me out.

8 hours ehh, you work a lot faster than I do!! Looks good, one thing that I would do is put a plexi window there to show off the nice job you've done. Here's how to do it and still have a useable floor:

1. use .75" MDF for the flush plate
2. Cut a window in the flush plate for the plexi.
3. Use a router and route out a .25" lip on the top of the flush plate.
4. use .25" MDF cut out the the size of the window plus the routed edge. Carpet this .25" cover that will be pressure fit into the routed edge.
5. mount the plexi on the underside of the flush plate. When I say underside, i mean the side that faces the ground that people don't see.

There you have it, 15 minutes later, you're done. well at least at the speed you work at.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Ur funny cobymoby. I have plexiglass already but not that kind of set-up. I just put it in place of teh removable panel. vw1xvWL6 nice to meet you and what do you do in the Air Force? I know a couple people at Ramstein exspecially in the hospital.
