MP3 Playback

Just bought a Gray Lustre 2003 GLE and I love it, but I have to say the sound is just plain miserable. I guess I was spoiled by my old sound system. I've read a bit of the FAQs, and it sounds like my old Infinity speakers will go in the car, but the real thing I'm going to miss is the ability to playback MP3 files from my computer system.

I realize the stock unit won't play back MP3-encoded CD-Rs, but I'm wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for adding MP3 capability to the system. Hard drives for the trunk, for example, or maybe putting an MP3 player in the glove box.

Any suggestions?

Sony has an MP3-changer 10discs with FM/modulator. Which means you don't have to cut into your stock harness. It also comes with a wireless & wired remote. CDX-565 or something like that. Costs around $240
